Representatives of regional mine action agencies held a meeting, during their participation at the Second Conference about Mine Action and the path to achieving sustainable goals. The meeting was attended by representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and Azerbaijan.
They discussed the need to strengthen the regional cooperation, and to implement the projects that would mobilize the necessary financial resources, all with the aim of reaching the common goal and the final elimination of mine danger.
Sasa Obradovic, Director of BHMAC, once again emphasized the importance of cooperation with neighboring centers, and the exchange of experience and knowledge, as well as the need to work on a new, more efficient and more effective methods.
