Quality Management Training Course

Quality Management Training Course has started today at BHMAC premises in Sarajevo with participants from BHMAC, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Administration of Civil Protection and the Republic of Srpska Civil Protection Administration.

The introductory speech was given by BHMAC Director Mr. Saša Obradović, followed by NPA Country Director in BiH Ms. Valerie Warmington. Both of them wished the participants an interesting, productive and practically useful week of learning and sharing experience and knowledge.

The training course was introduced by Mr. Darvin Lisica, NPA Global Special Advisor, who will also conduct the training together with Mr. Braco Pandurević, NPA Operations Manager in BiH.

The course will run for five days ending on Friday. The participants will be exposed to various aspects of quality management, including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of quality assurance systems. The training aims to enhance the participants’ skills and knowledge in quality management and enable them to apply the principles in their respective organizations. Overall, this training will contribute to improving the quality of services provided by the organizations represented by the participants.

This training course, organized by Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) and BHMAC, is being conducted within the framework of the regional project “Enhancing Quality Management Systems of National Mine Action Authorities and Centres in the Western Balkans.” The project, financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and NPA Utenriksdepartementet (Norge), aims to strengthen the capacities of national mine action authorities and centres in the Western Balkans in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating their quality management systems. This training is an essential component of the project and is expected to contribute significantly to achieving its objectives.
