In order to meet the objectives of the BiH Mine Action Strategy, a round table was held at the Butmir base in Sarajevo, organized by the EUFOR Main Command, attended by all relevant actors, including representatives of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Center, Demining Commission, German Embassy, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden and Austria, EU Delegation, and the Norwegian People's Aid, Mines Advisory Group, UNDP and GICHD.
The topic of discussion was the IMSMA Core management system for mine action.
IMSMA Core is the basis for the use of data and the application of knowledge gained during the Country Assessment Project and Land Release process.
The purpose of the meeting is the mutual exchange of information, in order to prepare the project for the effective implementation of IMSMA and assessment of required funds for its implementation.
